NASCAR's 2027 Return to New Hampshire
The NASCAR Cup Series and the CRAFTSMAN Truck Series will once again share the track at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in September 2027, marking the second consecutive year the venue hosts a double‑header as part of The Chase for the championship.
The Cup Series race is slated for Sunday, September 26, and will serve as the third event in The Chase, while the Truck Series race will kick off the championship weekend on Saturday, September 25, as the first of the playoff events.
Fans who were part of the sold‑out August 21‑23, 2026 NASCAR weekend at the speedway can now renew their tickets and camping reservations for the 2027 event, taking advantage of early‑bird access.
Executive Vice President and General Manager David McGrath of New Hampshire Motor Speedway expressed enthusiasm about the return to September and the continued appeal of fall racing in New England, noting the strong turnout and the unique experience for both drivers and spectators.
The 2026 edition drew a full house, underscoring the growing popularity of autumn racing in the region and its attractiveness to campers and travelers seeking a distinctive motorsport atmosphere.
Beyond the on‑track action, the event offers a weekend of activities for fans, including pit‑lane walks, driver autograph sessions and local culinary offerings that highlight New England’s seasonal charm.
With the championship picture tightening, the September dates at New Hampshire are poised to become a pivotal moment for teams striving to gain momentum before the season’s final stretch.
