NASCAR Returns to North Wilkesboro for a Busy Weekend
The historic North Wilkesboro Speedway in North Carolina will host a full slate of NASCAR events this weekend, featuring both the premier Cup Series and the Craftsman Truck Series. Fans can expect a mix of practice, qualifying and race action across three days.
Friday, July 17, will see the Truck Series take to the track for a scheduled practice session at 2 p.m. ET, followed by qualifying later that afternoon. Coverage of both sessions will be available on FS2, giving viewers a first look at the competitive line‑up.
Saturday’s highlight will be the Faith Fest 250, the Truck Series’ 250‑mile race, which is set to start at 12:30 p.m. ET. The race will be broadcast live on FS1, providing a prime‑time showcase of the series’ talent on a short track known for its tight competition.
Also on Saturday, the Cup Series will conduct its own practice and qualifying formats, slated for 5 p.m. ET. The sessions will be shown on truTV, marking the network’s continued partnership with NASCAR’s top division.
