The NASCAR Cup Series is set to make a celebrated comeback at North Wilkesboro Speedway this weekend, with 37 drivers entered for the inaugural points‑paying event at the storied half‑mile track.
Scheduled for Sunday, July 19 at 7 p.m. ET, the race will be broadcast nationally on TNT Sports and streamed on HBO Max, while radio coverage will be provided by PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
A Milestone for a Classic Venue
The event marks the first time the Cup Series has awarded points at North Wilkesboro since 1996, reviving a venue that has long been a fan favorite and a proving ground for legendary moments.
Twelve of the sport’s premier teams will field entries, including Trackhouse Racing, Team Penske, Richard Childress Racing, Front Row Motorsports, Hendrick Motorsports, RFK Racing, Spire Motorsports, Kaulig Racing, Joe Gibbs Racing, Wood Brothers Racing, 23XI Racing, Haas Factory Team, Legacy Motor Club and Rick Ware Racing, each bringing technical expertise and manufacturer backing.
Among the drivers slated to compete are familiar names such as Ross Chastain, Austin Cindric, Austin Dillon, Kyle Larson, Brad Keselowski, Daniel Suárez, Chase Elliott, Denny Hamlin, Ryan Blaney, Christopher Bell, Joey Logano, Bubba Wallace, William Byron and Chase Briscoe, alongside a deep field of challengers.
