NASCAR has unveiled its 2027 season calendar, a 36‑race lineup that blends classic American ovals with a new emphasis on military installations.
A schedule that honors tradition and service
The season will kick off at Daytona International Speedway, where the iconic Clash exhibition will take place before the Daytona 500, setting the tone for a year that also features the All‑Star race at North Wilkesboro Speedway.
The championship weekend will return to Homestead‑Miami Speedway for the second straight year, following a $20 million renovation that promises upgraded facilities for fans and competitors alike.
A key highlight is the return of a race at Naval Base Coronado, a event created to honor service members, and a broader multi‑year agreement with the Department of Defense that will bring additional NASCAR events to U.S. military bases through 2028.
Traditional venues remain central to the calendar, with Darlington Raceway hosting the Southern 500 as the final regular‑season race that determines the playoff field, Dover Motor Speedway scheduling a Cup Series date on May 16, and Pocono Raceway featuring all three national series during its June weekend.
The full slate also includes races at other historic tracks such as the Chicago street circuit, ensuring a diverse and exciting season for fans across the country.
