NASCAR is set to return to the historic 1.99‑mile, 12‑turn road course at Sonoma Raceway in California for a three‑day weekend that begins on Friday, June 26 and culminates on Sunday, June 28, 2026.
A Technical Challenge on the 1.99‑Mile Road Course
The track’s tight corners, elevation changes and limited runoff make it one of the most technically demanding circuits on the schedule, demanding precision from drivers and crews alike.
The weekend will feature the premier NASCAR Cup Series alongside the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series and the ARCA Menards Series West, giving fans a rare chance to see multiple divisions on the same event.

Beyond the on‑track action, the Sonoma weekend serves as the opening round of the 2026 NASCAR In‑Season Challenge, meaning early points can set the tone for the championship battle.
NASCAR driver William Sawalich is among those expected to compete, adding a personal storyline to the weekend’s excitement.
