NASCAR has announced that the 2026 season will feature a rare weekend double-header at two of its storied short tracks, EchoPark Speedway and Lime Rock Park, both scheduled for July.
Green-flag times for the weekend
The NASCAR Truck Series will open the action at 1:23 p.m. Eastern on Saturday at Lime Rock, while the O'Reilly Series will take the track at EchoPark later that night at 7:17 p.m. ET. Sunday’s Cup Series race at EchoPark will close the weekend with a 7:19 p.m. ET start.
The schedule marks the first time NASCAR has stacked events at these venues within a single weekend, reflecting the series’ effort to broaden its calendar and showcase diverse racing environments.
EchoPark Speedway, situated in Texas, is known for its high-banked, 0.5-mile oval that tests trucks’ power and durability, whereas Lime Rock Park in Connecticut offers a technical, road-course layout that has long been a favorite among fans.
Fans attending the weekend can expect a full slate of on-track activity, with each series bringing its own brand of competition, from the raw horsepower of the trucks to the precision of the Cup cars, all under the summer sun.
