NASCAR and Airbnb have unveiled a collaboration that will make it easier for race fans to secure lodging during the 2027 season. The partnership will cover five historic tracks — Bristol Motor Speedway, Darlington Raceway, Martinsville Speedway, North Wilkesboro Speedway, and Talladega Superspeedway — and will integrate Airbnb listings directly into each venue’s website.
Many NASCAR weekends take place in smaller markets where hotel rooms can become scarce, leaving fans to scramble for places to stay. By embedding Airbnb options on track sites, the series hopes to streamline the booking process and ensure that attendees have a wider range of nearby accommodations.
A Strategic Move for Fans and Hosts
The integration will allow fans to browse and reserve Airbnb stays without leaving the track’s official site, creating a seamless experience that blends travel planning with race weekend excitement. This initiative also aims to support local hosts who can open their homes to the growing community of NASCAR enthusiasts.
Adam Altfandary, Head of U.S. East Business at Airbnb, emphasized the significance of major sporting events in the company’s DNA, noting that partnerships like this align with Airbnb’s mission to connect travelers with unique lodging opportunities near cultural touchstones.
T.R. Sapienza, NASCAR Vice President of Track Sales, highlighted the passionate fan experiences that define each track, from the historic Southern 500 at Darlington to the electric atmosphere at Talladega. He expressed confidence that the new lodging options will enhance those experiences by reducing the stress associated with finding places to stay.
The collaboration will continue to evolve through 2026, with Airbnb listings linked to the participating tracks expected to become available on racetrack websites before the start of the 2027 NASCAR season. This phased rollout ensures that fans can begin accessing the new options well in advance of the first race.
