Green Savoree Racing Productions, the company behind the event, announced the schedule on July 23, 2026. The St. Petersburg street circuit: a motorsport landmark
The street circuit first opened to sports car competition in 1985 and hosted its inaugural IndyCar race in 2003. Over the decades the layout has attracted legends such as Paul Tracy, who won the first IndyCar event, and Hélio Castroneves, who holds the record with three victories. More recently, Alex Palou captured back‑to‑back wins in 2025 and 2026, cementing his status as the series’ dominant driver.
In the 2026 Truck race, Layne Riggs claimed the checkered flag, leading 41 of 80 laps and securing his first victory in the series. The win propelled Riggs to the top of the 2026 standings, where he holds a 59‑point advantage with four wins already this season.
