Panel Deliberations and Ruling
The National Motorsports Appeals Panel, composed of Tom DeLoach, Dixon Johnston and Lake Speed, reviewed the case and determined that Preece’s comments and the resulting crash warranted the sanctions outlined in Sections 4.3 and 4.4.A of the NASCAR Rule Book.
RFK Racing's Response
RFK Racing issued a statement expressing disappointment with the outcome but confirmed that it would accept the ruling and move forward, with an eye on the upcoming race in Nashville.
The team also noted that it retains the option to appeal the decision to the Final Appeals Officer, a route that could still shape the final outcome.
