The centerpiece of the weekend is the NASCAR Cup Series race scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m., but the schedule also includes the Craftsman Truck Series finale on Saturday. Both events will feature additional support races, amplifying the number of vehicles traveling to the venue.
Authorities anticipate more than 15,000 cars making their way to the speedway, prompting the deployment of uniformed officers at key exits and intersections. These officers will direct traffic, enforce left‑turn restrictions and monitor the flow of vehicles on Route 106 and the I-393 corridor.
