A Historic Return to Austin
NASCAR will once again bring its premier series to the Circuit of the Americas in March 2027, marking the seventh straight year the Texas Grand Prix returns to the Lone Star State and pairing it with the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series for a weekend of high‑octane competition.
The event will debut the 2.4‑mile National Course layout, a 17‑turn configuration introduced in 2025 that promises a fresh challenge for drivers and a new spectacle for spectators.
Tyler Reddick captured the Cup Series victory as part of a sweep of the season’s first three races, while Shane van Gisbergen secured the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series win, underscoring the event’s growing international appeal.
Fans from 47 U.S. states and ten countries are expected to attend, with affordable family tickets, free admission for children twelve and under on Friday and Saturday, and a returning Fan Zone that will feature entertainment and driver appearances.
The weekend is positioned as the third race of the season and the first of two annual visits to Texas, the second of which will take place at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth later in the year.
Mark Faber, NASCAR’s COTA General Manager, emphasized the weekend’s significance as a highlight of the 2027 season, noting the blend of competition, community and celebration that defines the event.
