Led by two‑time PBR World Champion Justin McBride, the Stampede have built a reputation for blending elite bull riding with a family‑owned ethos that celebrates Western culture. Their academy in Decatur, Texas, nurtures rising talents such as Kaiden Loud, Daniel Feitosa, Cody Jesus and Alan de Souza, while also providing a pipeline for up‑and‑coming riders.
The collaboration will see Ben Rhodes, the 2022 NASCAR Truck Series playoff standout, take the wheel of the No. 99 Ford F‑150 fielded by ThorSport. Rhodes, who has spoken openly about the excitement of working with a PBR powerhouse, believes the partnership offers a unique platform to showcase both sports to new audiences.
Beyond the track: developing the next generation
Central to the Stampede’s mission is the Nashville Stampede Bull Riding Academy, a training ground where young riders hone their craft under the guidance of seasoned professionals. The facility, known as The Ranch at NRS, serves as both a talent incubator and a cultural hub for the sport’s traditional roots.
