Nat Graham Joins Drexel Men’s Basketball Staff

Ivy League Champion and former All‑Canadian brings championship pedigree to Philadelphia

A Strategic Addition to Drexel's Coaching Roster

Drexel University announced this week that Nat Graham will join its men's basketball program as an assistant coach, bringing a blend of Ivy League championship experience and deep playing pedigree.

Graham’s coaching journey includes stints at Cornell, the University of Pennsylvania and Boston College, where he helped guide teams to three Ivy League titles and a Sweet 16 appearance, while also contributing to an offensive system that ranked 19th nationally at Cornell.

At Penn, his work culminated in the Quakers’ first NCAA Tournament berth in over a decade, a milestone that underscores his ability to elevate programs.

Beyond the clipboard, Graham was a standout player who earned first‑team All‑Canadian honors, captured two Ivy League championships, and later entered the University of Western Ontario’s Basketball Wall of Fame.

A scholar as well as a strategist, he holds a bachelor's degree in sociology from Penn and a master's in multicultural education from Eastern University, perspectives he says enrich his approach to player development.

Drexel’s athletic director praised Graham’s blend of analytical insight and player‑focused leadership, noting that his appointment aligns with the university’s ambition to deepen its competitive edge in the Colonial Athletic Association.

Looking Ahead

With Graham on staff, Drexel hopes to translate its recent recruiting gains into sustained on‑court success, aiming for deeper runs in conference play and beyond.
