Nate Bittle, the Oregon senior who dominated the final season of his collegiate career, has officially signed a contract with the Toronto Raptors, securing his first opportunity in the NBA.
From Oregon to the NBA: Nate Bittle's Next Step
The 6‑foot‑10 center concluded his fifth‑year stint with the Ducks by posting 16.8 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.8 blocks per game, numbers that helped him earn Third Team all‑Big Ten honors and a spot on the Big Ten All‑Defensive team for the 2024‑25 season.
Bittle’s résumé also includes being a finalist for the Kareem Abdul‑Jabbar Center of the Year Award, ranking third all‑time in program history for blocked shots and joining an elite group of 41 players who have reached the 1,000‑point milestone for Oregon.
The Raptors will introduce him to the league through the NBA Summer League, where the schedule opens on Friday at 6 p.m. Pacific time and will be streamed on ESPN.
In Las Vegas, Bittle will be joined by former teammates Brandon Angel, who remains with the Raptors, and TJ Bamba, who will showcase his talents with the Denver Nuggets.
Both the University of Oregon and the Raptors organization view the move as a natural progression for a player who helped the Ducks to a 25‑win season and a berth in the NCAA Tournament, underscoring the growing pipeline of talent from the Pacific Northwest to the professional ranks.
