Nate Goellrich has resigned as the head baseball coach at Estancia High School, ending an 11‑year stint that produced multiple championship seasons for the Eagles.
A Storied Tenure
During his tenure, Goellrich guided the program to CIF Southern Section championships in 2022 and again in the current season, and the team captured a CIF Southern California Regional title that same year. His overall record at Estancia stands at 196 wins and 121 losses, a testament to sustained competitiveness.
Although stepping away from the dugout, Goellrich will continue to serve the school as its athletic director, a role he says will allow him to shape the broader athletic program while staying connected to the baseball community.
A New Chapter
Kyle Coburn, who has most recently served as an assistant coach at Ottawa University in Arizona and previously at the University of San Francisco, has been appointed to replace Goellrich. His background in collegiate baseball and player development positions him to inherit a program with a winning tradition.
School officials and longtime supporters alike have expressed confidence that Coburn’s experience and familiar presence within the program will sustain the Eagles’ momentum as they look toward future seasons.
