Super Regionals Set for June
The NCAA baseball regionals wrapped up on Monday, crowning eight champions who will now head into the super regionals scheduled for June 5 through June 8. The winners will advance to the 2026 College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska, which runs from June 12 to June 22.
Regional play delivered a series of memorable moments, from Cal Poly’s dominant performance in the Los Angeles bracket to Oklahoma’s 10‑inning victory over Georgia Tech in Atlanta. Each regional produced a champion, and the matchups that emerged reflect a blend of established powerhouses and unexpected challengers.
The super regional pairings are West Virginia versus Cal Poly, Troy against Little Rock, North Carolina facing USC, and Auburn meeting Ole Miss. Additional contests pit Kansas against Oklahoma, Alabama against St. John’s, Texas against Oregon, and Georgia against Mississippi State. These games promise high stakes and competitive baseball.
Coverage will be spread across ESPN2, ESPN+, ESPNU, ACCN and the SEC Network throughout the regional and super regional phases. When the College World Series begins, all games will be broadcast on ESPN, bringing the tournament to a national audience.
Notable storylines include St. John’s rise as the second No. 4 seed to advance under the current format and Oregon’s steady progression to the super regionals. Teams such as Texas and Alabama also demonstrated depth, winning their regionals in six and seven games respectively.
