Nebraska baseball coach Will Bolt has agreed to a contract extension that will keep him at the helm through the 2032 season, with his compensation rising from $500,000 to $750,000.
The deal also secures extensions for his top assistants — Rob Childress, Lance Harvell and Mike Sirianni — through 2028, reinforcing continuity in the program’s coaching staff.
Investing in the Future
Bolt’s tenure has been marked by three conference titles and three NCAA regional appearances, while his overall record of 213 wins places him sixth in program history.
Under his guidance the Huskers have produced six All‑Americans and 11 players selected in the MLB draft, and ten of the team’s 21 NCAA Tournament berths have occurred during his time as a player or coach.
The moves reflect a broader strategy to elevate Nebraska baseball within the Big Ten and national landscape, positioning the program for sustained competitiveness.
