The University of Nebraska has released its complete 2026 men’s soccer schedule, confirming a 19‑match campaign that begins on August 5 and wraps up with the NCAA Tournament running through December 14.
Season Overview
The opening fixture will take the Huskers to Fort Collins, Colorado, where they open against Colorado State before returning home for a series of early contests that include a visit from Louisville on August 12, a home game versus South Dakota on August 16 and a showdown with Notre Dame on August 20.
Later in August the team will host Alabama on August 23 and welcome Omaha on August 27, concluding the month with a road match at Kansas State on August 30.
Big Ten play kicks off on September 10 against Indiana, continues with a trip to Iowa on September 13, and then sees Washington, the defending conference champion, visit Lincoln on September 20. Nebraska will also host Michigan State on September 24 before traveling to face Michigan on September 27.
October brings a home stretch that features a matchup with Wisconsin on October 4, road games at Maryland on October 8 and at Rutgers on October 11, and a trio of consecutive home contests against Illinois, USC and UCLA later in the month. The regular season finale is set for October 30 at Purdue.
The Big Ten Tournament runs from November 4 to November 13, and the NCAA Tournament will extend from November 20 through December 14, giving the Huskers a chance to compete for a national title.
