Nebraska Unveils New adidas Football Uniforms that Fuse Tradition with Farm‑State Roots

The latest home and away kits, launched at the Hawks Championship Center, celebrate the state's agricultural heritage while aiming to boost recruiting.

A Modern Uniform with Historic Flair

Nebraska Athletics and adidas unveiled a fresh set of home and away jerseys for the Husker football program at the Hawks Championship Center, marking the latest chapter in a partnership that dates back to 1995.

The designs draw on classic Husker aesthetics while weaving in motifs from Nebraska’s agricultural landscape, such as two shoulder stripes and sleeve numbers that echo the look of steel anvils and rows of crops.

Brandon Meier, Nebraska’s Senior Associate AD for Marketing and Multimedia, praised adidas for honoring the deep connection between the team and the state’s farming heritage, noting that the new look is intended to resonate with fans and recruits alike.

Haven Fields, Deputy AD and Chief Operating Officer, added that modern, stylish uniforms play a crucial role in attracting top talent and reinforcing the program’s brand identity.

The iconic Husker helmet and the ‘N’ emblem on the pants remain unchanged, preserving a visual link to tradition even as the rest of the uniform receives a contemporary refresh.

Fans can purchase the new kits online through adidas.com or shop.huskers.com, where the apparel is already listed for pre‑order.
