Netflix Unveils New Season of "Quarterback"
Netflix has dropped the first teaser for the third season of its hit sports documentary series "Quarterback," promising an inside look at the lives of some of the league’s most recognizable quarterbacks.
Among the featured players is Jayden Daniels, the former LSU standout who captured the 2023 Heisman Trophy and was the second overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft by the Washington Commanders.
The upcoming season will follow Daniels alongside fellow signal‑callers Baker Mayfield, Cam Ward and veteran Joe Flacco, each of whom are navigating their own storylines on and off the field.
A Tale of Resilience
Daniels’ 2025 campaign got off to a rocky start; a knee sprain in Week 2 against Green Bay sidelined him for three games, and a hamstring issue in Week 7 at Dallas kept him out of the Monday Night matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.
A Week 9 clash with the Seattle Seahawks ended with a dislocated left elbow, forcing Daniels to miss the next five contests, only to return for the Week 14 game versus Minnesota before an aggravated elbow forced an early exit.
Despite the setbacks, Washington finished the season with a 5‑12 record, underscoring the challenges the team faced without its star quarterback.
Daniels joins Joe Burrow as the second former LSU quarterback to appear in the series, linking a lineage of talent that has shaped college football’s recent narrative.
