Nevada Secures Commitment from Top Prospect Keenan Dolan
Keenan Dolan, a standout pitcher and outfielder from Bishop Manogue High School, has pledged to join the University of Nevada’s baseball program, flipping his commitment from the University of South Carolina after a highly anticipated recruitment process.
The decision comes after Dolan helped guide the Miners to a 5A State Championship appearance and earned the 2026 Gatorade Nevada Baseball Player of the Year honor, an award that celebrates athletic performance, academic achievement and community service.
Dolan becomes the second player from Northern Nevada to receive the Gatorade accolade in the past two decades, underscoring the region’s rising talent pipeline.
In announcing his choice, Dolan highlighted the role of his coaches and teammates, including Robby Snelling and Kevin Jepsen, whose contributions kept the Miners competitive throughout a demanding season.
The commitment is viewed as a major boost for Nevada’s program, which is looking to build on recent successes and attract more top talent from the state and beyond.
