Nevada’s men’s basketball program is poised for its most ambitious campaign ever, announcing a 32‑game schedule that marks the highest number of contests in school history.
A Record‑Breaking Schedule
The Wolf Pack will call the Tahoe Blue Event Center in Stateline home for its first ever game against Saint Mary’s on November 8, a historic matchup that brings the scenic lakefront venue into the spotlight.
Seventeen home dates punctuate the slate, while the team travels to face five West Coast Conference opponents, including San Francisco and Santa Clara during Thanksgiving week’s Acrisure Series in Palm Springs.
The nonconference slate also features the Texas Legends College Classic in Dallas, where Nevada will meet Colorado State on December 18 and Loyola Chicago on December 20.
Conference Play and Season Arc
Mountain West competition begins on January 2 against Wyoming and culminates at home versus New Mexico on March 6, completing a schedule that deliberately avoids Power Five opponents for the first time in 26 seasons.
Coach Steve Alford, now in his eighth year with the Wolf Pack, brings a career record of 137‑88 overall and 71‑56 in conference play, having guided the team to a 24‑win 2025‑26 season.
The roster returns key starters Elijah Price and Vaughn Weems, alongside Peyton White and Myles Walker, while ten newcomers — including six transfers and four freshmen — are set to add depth and fresh talent.
Select games will be available via MW+, the new Mountain West subscription streaming platform, giving fans expanded access to the action.
