New Home High School etched its name into Texas baseball history by capturing the Class 2ADI State Championship with a 7‑2 win over Iola. The triumph marked the program’s first state title and underscored the team’s dominance throughout the season.
Key contributors included Bransen Beckham, who delivered two RBI singles that helped pull away early, and pitcher Tucker Cotton, who threw four solid innings to set the tone on the mound. Avin Madrid added three innings of reliable relief, preserving the lead as the game progressed.
