Offseason Focus
Quarterback Lane Ratliff is leading a series of voluntary workouts aimed at sharpening the passing attack, a effort overseen by veteran coach Kevin Board. The offense benefits from the experience of Paul Stenson, Tristan Braden and Eli Stephens, who together formed a veteran line that helped the team amass 2,925 rushing yards last season.
In 2025 Ratliff completed 68% of his throws for 1,434 yards and 13 touchdowns, adding more than 2,000 total offensive yards, while Stenson’s running game contributed heavily to the offense. The squad also said goodbye to three All‑Ohioans — linebacker Harrison Ratliff, lineman Tristan Braden and Stenson — but the remaining pieces are already at work.
Building on Last Year's Success
Player‑led sessions at Jim Rockwell Stadium in April brought together Ratliff, Tyson Spicer, Tanner Toth and Eli Dixon, while Eli Stephens, a Division I recruit committed to Army, returned to the fold. The work includes strength and conditioning, 7‑on‑7 drills and a focus on timing, drops and reading coverages, as Board stresses the importance of precision and communication.
Seniors see the upcoming season as a chance to lead, but Board acknowledges that further development is needed as the team blends new talent with the returning core.
