Newcastle United have sealed a deal worth up to €40 million with Monaco for the 20‑year‑old French midfielder Aladji Bamba, a France Under‑20 international who has featured in 25 senior matches for the principality club since his debut last August.
Bamba’s arrival marks the fourth summer signing for the Magpies, joining recent arrivals Ewen Jaouen, Sean Steur and Bazoumana Toure, all of whom have already begun integrating into Eddie Howe’s plans.
