The Three Rivers Athletic Conference has unveiled its All‑Conference baseball and softball teams for the season, recognizing standout performances from member schools.
Baseball Honors
Newman’s baseball squad led the way with seven honorees, a testament to its unbeaten 10‑0 conference run and championship status.
Senior Evan Bushman and junior Michael Morse headlined the baseball selections, each earning unanimous first‑team honors as pitchers.
Junior Ashton Miner secured a unanimous first‑team spot at catcher, while seniors Garret Matznick and junior Liam Nicklaus were unanimous first‑team picks in the infield.
Sophomore Jameson Hanlon earned a first‑team outfield selection, and sophomore Garet Wolfe was placed on the second team as a utility player.
Softball Honors
The Erie‑Prophetstown Panthers boasted six first‑team athletes, underscoring their dominance in the league.
Seniors Lilly Swatos, Ava Grawe and Leah Richmond were among the first‑team picks for the Panthers, joined by juniors Wynn Renkes, Ayden Klendworth and freshman infielder Laken Renkes.
Additional first‑team members for the Panthers included sophomore infielder Chloe Hamilton and the trio of Wynn Renkes, Ayden Klendworth, and Laken Renkes.
Honorable mentions were awarded to several players, including senior outfielder Alyssah Padia and senior infielder Brenleigh Cook, as well as Newman senior Lucy Oetting and sophomore pitcher Gianna Vance.
The conference also recognized Erie‑Prophetstown’s senior Braedyn Frank and classmate Alastaire Sweetswer with first‑team and second‑team pitcher honors respectively.
