The 2026 NBA Draft concluded without the name of Wisconsin Badgers point guard Nick Boyd appearing on any of the 60 selections, leaving the senior guard to navigate the next chapter as an undrafted free agent.
A Summer League Audition
Boyd has agreed to a summer‑league contract with the Golden State Warriors, a move that could eventually translate into a two‑way deal if he impresses coaches during the upcoming showcase.
During his final college season, Boyd posted averages of 20.7 points, 4.3 assists, 3.8 rebounds and a steal per game, numbers that placed him at No. 53 on The Athletic’s Sam Vecenie’s Big Board.
The Warriors will extend him a non‑guaranteed Exhibit 10 contract, a pathway that has historically served as a stepping stone to the G‑League affiliate and, for a select few, to the parent roster.
Looking Ahead
The former Badgers star will report to the Warriors’ training facility in California later this summer, where he hopes to turn a long‑shot opportunity into a guaranteed spot on the roster.
