Camp Overview
Registration is now open for the 2026 Huskie Basketball Camps, a pair of programs directed by Northern Illinois University’s newly appointed head coach Matt Majkrzak. The initiatives aim to blend skill development with the excitement of collegiate basketball, offering distinct tracks for high school athletes and younger participants.
Elite Camp Details
The elite camp, designed for students entering ninth through twelfth grade, will convene on June 17 and July 22. Participants will experience a college‑style practice structure, receive instruction from the NIU men’s basketball staff, and conclude the session with 5‑of‑5 games that allow campers to showcase their abilities. The fee for the elite camp is $75.
Kids Camp Highlights
A separate kids camp runs from July 27 through July 29, operating each day from 9 a.m. to noon. Coached by NIU’s basketball staff and current players, the program features stations focused on shooting, passing, ball handling, and finishing. The cost is $120 per camper, which includes a commemorative camp t‑shirt.
