Noah Rist, a two‑time state champion from the Pleasantville baseball team, arrives at North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) with a .310/.402/.520 batting line that defined his junior season.
Having transferred from Southeast Polk to Pleasantville in eighth grade, Rist quickly forged strong bonds with teammates, a foundation he says will shape his approach to college baseball.
A New Chapter for the NIACC Program
After weighing several options, Rist announced his commitment to NIACC in Mason City, citing the institution’s coaching staff, culture and modern facilities as decisive factors.
He hopes to inject his winning mentality into a program that has struggled to find consistency, aiming to contribute wherever the team needs him most.
Rist’s ultimate ambition — playing at the highest level of college baseball — has driven him since he was ten, and he sees NIACC as the next step toward that dream.
