Coach Weible's Leave Impacts North Kitsap Baseball
North Kitsap High School’s baseball program saw its season conclude with two defeats in the West Central District tournament, first against Fife and then against Orting.
Veteran head coach Jeff Weible was absent from the dugout for those games, having been placed on administrative leave by the school district.
Jenn Markaryan, a spokesperson for the North Kitsap School District, confirmed that Weible is currently on leave from both his coaching responsibilities and his role as a physical‑education teacher.
While the district refrains from disclosing specifics of personnel actions, it emphasized that student programs remain overseen by qualified staff and that continuity of activities is being maintained.
Beyond baseball, Weible also serves as a football coach at the same school, balancing his duties across multiple sports throughout the academic year.
