North Secures Double Victory at 50th Lions All-Star Senior Football Game

Tracy’s historic stadium hosts a celebration of talent, tradition, and community

The 50th annual Lions All-Star Senior Football Game unfolded at Wayne Schneider Stadium in Tracy, drawing a crowd that celebrated the region’s top high school seniors.

North’s Double Victory

The North squad posted a 34-14 win in the tackle contest and followed it with a 44-6 triumph in the flag format, demonstrating depth on both sides of the ball.

The ceremony paid tribute to longtime mentor Wayne Schneider, while the iconic yellow and blue Lions jerseys, donated by Aaron Judge and the All Rise Foundation, added a symbolic touch to the festivities.

Mason Eagal of St. Mary’s in Stockton was named the game’s overall Most Valuable Player after contributing two touchdown passes, two field goals and flawless extra-point attempts, while Cash Byington of the North earned offensive MVP honors with two rushing scores.

Defensive recognition went to Raul Diaz of Los Banos, who recorded six tackles, and Emma Coronado of Kimball, who earned flag-football MVP after a pick-six highlighted her performance.

Inspiration on the Field

The event also shone a light on character, as Ivy Butler of Pitman received the South’s Most Inspirational Player award and Kiera McCulley of Manteca earned the same honor for the North, underscoring the game’s broader impact on the community.

Other notable contributors included Levi Cook of Turlock, who tallied six tackles and two pressures, and Eli Wilbanks of Hughson, who turned limited touches into 10 yards on three carries and a 40-yard reception, while Pitman’s Mason Helwick served primarily on special teams.

The game’s pageantry, community spirit and the presence of figures such as Patty Judge, mother of Yankees star Aaron Judge, who accepted a commemorative jersey at halftime, reinforced the event’s place as a cherished tradition in the Central Valley.
