The American Conference has released its 2026‑27 women’s basketball slate, setting the stage for a season that promises both continuity and new challenges.
A historic home stretch for the Mean Green
Under head coach Jason Burton, the Mean Green have compiled a 67‑win streak over the past three seasons, the most successful three‑year stretch in program history and a 39‑15 record in league play.
Conference play on the horizon
The schedule includes an 18‑game lineup that features nine home contests against former conference champions and a road swing through East Carolina, Memphis and UAB, with return visits to several of those venues later in the season. Conference play opens on December 30, 2026 and will run through March 6, 2027.
Season tickets are now available, giving fans the opportunity to follow a team that has won at least 19 games in each of the last three seasons and looks to extend its winning momentum into the spring.
