Conference Honors and Statewide Accolades
The latest all‑state soccer selections have put a spotlight on the talent emerging from northeast Wisconsin, with senior defender Emily Urban of Kimberly earning the only first‑team nod in the region and also being named Fox Valley Association player of the year.
Conference player‑of‑the‑year awards further illustrate the competitive balance, with Macie Brosteau of Bay Port taking the FRCC player‑of‑the‑year title and Aubrey Friendshuh of Bay Port earning defensive player‑of‑the‑year honors.
All‑State Selections
Urban’s honor is complemented by a series of recognitions that underline the depth of local programs. Kennedy Ebben, also from Kimberly, and Adaiah Rezachek of De Pere were placed on the all‑state second team, while a host of teammates gathered honorable‑mention status across the state.
Among the honorees, Amara Leppla, a senior midfielder from Hartland Arrowhead, was crowned the state’s player of the year, adding a prestigious individual award to the growing list of accolades.
Additional all‑state honorable mentions went to Brinley Dunsirn and Charlee King of Appleton North, as well as Emi Kuhn of Luxemburg‑Casco and Claire Zulewski of Appleton North, rounding out a strong regional presence.
The Wisconsin Soccer Coaches Association, which oversees the all‑state process, praised the breadth of talent displayed across the state, noting that the selections reflect both athletic excellence and sportsmanship.
