Baseball Champions

Division III saw West Valley defeat Orland 10‑2; Aiden Sweet threw six innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out six batters.
U‑Prep captured the Division IV baseball crown with a 14‑4 victory over Winters, highlighted by Gio Purcell’s four‑hit performance and a strong pitching effort.
Maxwell edged Redding Christian 3‑2 in the Division VI final; Brenner Battle delivered a steady outing to preserve the slim lead.
Softball Champions
Las Plumas rallied for a 13‑12 win over Chico in Division II softball, with Aubree Wertz providing a home run, two RBIs and five strikeouts in five innings.
Durham claimed the Division IV title, beating U‑Prep 7‑3; the pitching staff was anchored by Hailey Delong, who later recorded 13 strikeouts in the Division VI final for Chester.
East Nicolaus secured the Division V softball championship with an 8‑2 victory over Los Molinos, while Chester dominated Division VI, defeating Etna 12‑1 and showcasing Hailey Delong’s four stolen bases and two RBIs.
