Boys Soccer Opens With Win
Northridge’s boys soccer squad kicked off the season in impressive fashion, defeating Northside Christian 2-0 on Tuesday night.
Kaden Krotzer opened the scoring and later set up a goal for Westin Cascioli, while Drake Gokenbach added his own marker. Goalkeeper Mason Moss made five saves to preserve the clean sheet.
Girls Tennis Dominates
Across town, the Granville girls tennis team turned in a dominant performance, dropping only a single point in a 4-1 victory over Madison Christian.
Doubles pairs Kennedy Timmons and Sammy Garman, as well as Sadie Treece and Sammie Painvin, each recorded 6-0, 6-0 wins, while singles players Alexa Todora and Gigi Stone also posted 6-0, 6-0 victories, with Todora ranked No. 2 and Stone No. 3.
Both programs look to build on these early results as they head into the next stretch of competition.
