Northwest Baseball Tournament Returns for Fourth of July Celebration

Free games, carnival attractions, and community events across Centralia and Chehalis

Baseball fans and families across the Pacific Northwest are gearing up for a festive weekend as sixty teams converge on Centralia and Chehalis for a Fourth of July tournament that blends competition with community celebration.

The Twin City Sports Commission is backing the event, which will take place at Borst Park and several fields throughout Chehalis, giving players and spectators a chance to enjoy high‑level play in a relaxed, free‑admission setting.

Festival Highlights and Community Activities

Admission to all games is complimentary, and the NW Sports Hub is sweetening the deal with a 50 percent discount on carnival game tickets, while every tournament participant receives free entry for the entire three‑day schedule.

Beyond the diamonds, the festival offers a full slate of activities — from balloon twisting and airbrush tattoos to mini‑golf, foam parties and black‑light laser tag — ensuring entertainment for visitors of all ages.

July 2 brings a free outdoor screening of *How to Train Your Dragon 2* in the park, followed by a pool party at the Shaw Outdoor Pool on July 3, and on July 4 the downtown Centralia Summerfest will feature a pancake feed, a 5K run, vendors, live music and a parade.

The celebration culminates with America’s 250th Anniversary at Stan Hedwall Park in Chehalis, where live music and a fireworks spectacular will light up the night sky, rounding out a weekend that showcases the region’s spirit and summer camaraderie.
