The Norwalk boys soccer squad clinched its fourth straight appearance in the Class 3A State Tournament on Tuesday, downing Bondurant-Farrar 4-0 in the Substate 6 championship.
A Dominant Performance
Senior forward Teegan Kralik opened the scoring early and capped the night with a strike in the 68th minute, finishing a direct-kick from distance that left the opposition helpless.
Norwalk entered the break with a 1-0 advantage and then erupted with three goals in a 16-minute stretch of the second half, a burst that featured close-range finishes from Arian Krasniqi and Matthew Lane, both set up by Eli Scavo.
The Warriors' attack was relentless, generating 18 corner kicks and eight shots on goal, while goalkeeper Jacoby Robbins made a single save in 75 minutes of work.
Looking Ahead to the Quarterfinals
Kralik emphasized the importance of patience and belief in the team's strategy, a mindset that helped the Warriors maintain composure while pushing forward.
Next up, Norwalk will meet fourth-ranked Marion at 5:00 p.m. on Monday in Indianola, before the 3A semifinals and championship unfold at Mediacom Stadium in Des Moines on Wednesday and Friday.
