The American Hockey Coaches Association has announced that eleven members of the Norwich University men's ice hockey team have been named 2025‑26 Krampade All‑American Scholars, a testament to the program's blend of athletic competitiveness and scholarly achievement.
Academic Excellence
To earn the distinction, each student‑athlete must maintain a 3.75 grade‑point average across both semesters and appear in at least 40 percent of their team's games. Norwich's collective effort resulted in a 3.77 team GPA, earning the Cadets the Little East Conference Team Academic Award for men's ice hockey.
A Historic Season
In their first year as members of the Little East Conference, the Cadets captured both the regular‑season title and the tournament championship, defeating Babson College 4‑1 in the final. Their run continued into the NCAA Division III Tournament, where they fell 2‑1 in overtime to eventual national champion Hamilton College in the quarterfinals.
Player Spotlights
Goaltender Sami Molu was honored as both LEC Goalie of the Year and Tournament Most Valuable Player, while forward Ocean Fancy earned a spot on the LEC All‑Rookie Team, highlighting the individual talent that helped drive the team's success.
