Notre Dame Coach Mike Brown Returns to Hometown with Youth Football Camp

Former Monticello High standout launches ninth annual camp for kids aged 7‑13

Mike Brown, the wide receivers coach at the University of Notre Dame, is bringing his annual youth football camp back to the place where his own football journey began.

The camp will take place on June 27 at Monticello High School in Albemarle County, Virginia, and is open to children between the ages of seven and thirteen, regardless of skill level.

Brown, a 2007 graduate of Monticello High, says the event is as much about giving back to his community as it is about teaching the fundamentals of the game.

A Homecoming for a Coach

For Brown, the camp represents a personal homecoming, an opportunity to reconnect with the town that shaped his early career and to inspire the next generation of players.

Now in his ninth year of college coaching, Brown emphasizes that the camp provides a chance for youngsters to learn, have fun, and experience the excitement of the sport in a supportive environment.
