Offensive Onslaught
Nottingham’s bats were relentless, compiling 15 hits and 16 runs. Nolan Muits smashed two triples and crossed the plate three times, while Christian Bianchi added two hits, three runs and two RBIs. The offensive outburst turned a tight contest into a rout.
Levi Mittendorf, T.J. Chew, Gavin Jones, Jackson Bishop and Michael Gargione also contributed to the scoring frenzy, ensuring the victory was a team effort from top to bottom.
Looking Ahead
With the championship secured, the squad now turns its attention to the Section 3 Tournament, where they will meet the winner of District 18 versus District 11. Players and coaches alike have voiced ambitions of advancing to the national regional tournament and even catching the eye of ESPN cameras.
West Windsor manager Rob Cianchetti acknowledged the quality of Nottingham’s play, praising DiMartino’s pitching and the team’s overall execution.
