All-Ohio Baseball Honors Highlight 2026 Talent
The Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association has released its 2026 All-Ohio teams, recognizing the state’s most outstanding high school players across divisions. The selections reflect a blend of pitching dominance, offensive firepower, and emerging talent set to shape the next wave of college baseball.
In Division VI, Lake Center Christian celebrates three first‑team honorees: Nathan Bryant, Luke Heckert and Caleb Shelly. Their contributions helped the team capture a state championship, underscoring the program’s recent rise.
Division I’s Jackson squad features Landon Thiel, an Ohio State recruit who finished the season 6‑0 with a 0.95 ERA and tops the school’s all‑time strikeout list with 295. His performance has drawn attention from collegiate programs nationwide.
Hoover’s Jack Andes earns first‑team honors in Division II after leading his team to a share of the Federal League title. Andes set career records for steals, runs, triples and saves, while also posting a strong offensive season.
Marlington’s Brock Woods, a Division IV first‑team selection, batted .544 and went 4‑1 with a 3.95 ERA on the mound, showcasing a rare two‑way impact.
Lake Center Christian’s Luke Heckert posted a .505 average and a 0.35 ERA across six pitching appearances, while Nathan Bryant batted .406 and went 2‑2 with a 3.23 ERA. Caleb Shelly contributed a .417 average and a 1.55 ERA, finishing 10‑1 on the mound.
The full roster also includes standout performers from Arizona Western College, Ohio State University and Bowling Green State University, reflecting the broad reach of the state’s baseball talent pipeline.
