Key Matchups to Watch
The Ohio High School Athletic Association’s baseball postseason is now in full swing, with district contests scheduled across the state through the end of May. Licking County teams are among those competing, and the upcoming slate includes games on Saturday, May 23, Tuesday, May 26, and Wednesday, May 27, each set for early afternoon or evening start times.
On May 23, the first round of matchups will see Whitehall take on Granville, Lakewood face Heath, and River Valley square off against Johnstown, with kickoff times ranging from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. depending on the venue.
Later in the week, additional contests will feature Newark battling Hilliard Darby, while Granville Christian will meet Grandview Heights, again with games slated for mid‑afternoon or early evening slots.
