Five teams snapped long losing streaks in Week 1, including Swanton (37‑game streak), Zanesville (26‑game streak) and Rockford Parkway (18‑game streak). Fairfield’s defense forced six turnovers, including a fumble return touchdown, in a 35‑25 win over Wayne. Triad’s Blayk Thomas threw for 342 yards and five touchdowns in a 40‑2 victory over Ridgedale.
