The Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) has officially released the 2026 men's soccer schedule, marking the fourth season of competition for the league. Eight programs will contest the league title, featuring a blend of established members and new affiliate participants.
Eastern Illinois University will host four non‑conference matches at its Lakeside Field, providing a home‑field advantage early in the campaign. In addition, the conference schedule includes five further home contests for the Panthers, complementing a ten‑game slate that mixes league and non‑league opponents.
League Structure and Match Days
Teams will play a 10‑game league schedule, facing three opponents twice and four opponents once. The OVC has arranged most contests for Thursday and Sunday evenings, allowing for a compact and fan‑friendly calendar.
The championship tournament will be staged in St. Charles, Missouri, on the campus of Lindenwood University. This marks the second consecutive year the event has been held at the same venue, underscoring the partnership between the OVC and Lindenwood.
Eight squads will battle for the title, with the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley joining as a new affiliate member. The participating institutions also include Eastern Illinois, Southern Indiana, Western Illinois, Houston Christian, and the University of the Incarnate Word, each bringing a unique blend of talent and experience to the competition.
