Oklahoma State University announced Wednesday that it has secured two elite offensive linemen for its 2027 recruiting class, a move that could reshape the Cowboys' front line.
Sonny Mullen, a 6‑foot‑6, 280‑pound tackle from Troy, Texas, flipped his verbal commitment from the University of Houston to Oklahoma State, a decision first reported by local sports outlets.
Joining Mullen is Chase Clark, a 6‑foot‑4, 290‑pound interior lineman who grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and chose the Cowboys over a handful of other suitors.
Both prospects are rated as three‑star recruits by major scouting services and have attracted offers from a range of Power Five programs, including Baylor, Texas Christian University, Kansas State, Purdue, Oregon State and James Madison.
Their arrivals mark the fifth and sixth pledges in the 2027 class and represent the first group of offensive line talent assembled under new position coach Cody Crill, who arrived on staff earlier this year.
Coach Crill, a former standout at the University of Oklahoma, brings a fresh philosophy to the line, emphasizing size, agility and versatility. Early evaluations suggest that Mullen and Clark could compete for starting roles as early as their sophomore seasons.
