The Southeastern Conference unveiled the complete schedule for the 2026‑27 women's basketball season, giving the Oklahoma Sooners a clear view of both home and away challenges.
Home Opponents
Oklahoma will open its home slate at the Lloyd Noble Center against a blend of traditional rivals and new foes, hosting Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, Texas and Vanderbilt.
Road Opponents
The Sooners will travel to face Arkansas, Florida, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Tennessee and Texas A&M, completing a 16‑game conference schedule that follows a single‑round robin format with one rotating opponent.
Ranked Matchups
Seven conference opponents appear in ESPN's Way‑Too‑Early Top 25, including No. 1 South Carolina, No. 8 Texas, No. 11 Vanderbilt and No. 17 Kentucky, all slated to play in Norman. Oklahoma itself is ranked No. 24 in the same poll, setting the stage for high‑profile contests at the Lloyd Noble Center.
SEC Tournament and Non‑Conference Slate
The conference tournament is scheduled for March 3‑7, 2027, at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina. In addition, Oklahoma will test itself against top‑tier competition away from the SEC, playing North Carolina in Paris on Nov. 2 and Syracuse in New York on Dec. 3 as part of the SEC/ACC Challenge.
Returning Talent
Head coach Jennie Baranczyk returns with a core that includes senior All‑Conference honoree Sahara Williams and 2026‑27 national freshman of the year Aaliyah Chavez, complemented by five other returners and a seven‑player recruiting class.
The complete schedule, with dates and times, will be released later, but the announced matchups already promise a competitive season for the Sooners.
