Old Dominion University’s women’s soccer program has unveiled its 2026‑27 recruiting class, a cohort of eleven athletes set to join the Monarchs ahead of the upcoming season.
A fresh wave of talent
Head coach Will Roberts said the incoming group represents a blend of fresh talent and seasoned contributors, and he expressed confidence that the class will add depth and versatility to the squad.
Among the newcomers, Camdyn Smith arrives as a first‑year goalkeeper from Morgantown High School, where she backstopped her team to consecutive state titles, while Emily Earles brings fourth‑year eligibility after a stint at NC State.
Madelynn Arthur, a first‑year defender, earned First Team All‑State and All‑Conference honors in 2025, and Libby Holmes, a fourth‑year defender, helped ULM capture the Sun Belt regular‑season title and earned All‑Sun Belt First Team recognition.
Ally Richardson, also a fourth‑year player, joins from ULM where she was part of the championship‑winning side, while Eve O’Carroll brings international experience from Manchester City and the Republic of Ireland’s youth teams.
Reese Kulha, a forward from Holly Springs High School, holds multiple records and led her team to its first-ever state championship, and Emme Kline, a Pennsylvania native, collected All‑Selection and All‑WPIAL honors.
Vivian Thompson, a Virginia prospect, earned First Team All‑District, and Alaina Subong, a Maryland captain, was named All‑Metro and All‑County, while Molly Flammia, a Goochland midfielder, earned a spot in the iD2 soccer program and a training invite with U.S. Soccer.
Coach Roberts believes this mix of high‑school standouts and transfer athletes will strengthen the Monarchs’ attacking options and defensive stability as they aim for a competitive season.
