The Ole Miss baseball squad is gearing up for a Super Regional showdown in Auburn, Alabama, after a bruising weekend in Lincoln that tested both body and mind.

Head coach Mike Bianco has repeatedly stressed that the team’s success will hinge on seizing key moments and ensuring adequate rest after the physically taxing stretch.
The Rebels will meet Auburn, a program they did not face during the regular season, adding a layer of uncertainty that Bianco says the staff is already dissecting.
The first contest is slated for 7 p.m. Friday at Plainsman Park, and the coaching staff returned to Oxford on Monday afternoon before heading back to Auburn on Wednesday.
Bianco notes that the team’s preparation centers on opponents they actually play, and the coaches began a deep dive into Auburn’s strengths on Tuesday morning.
While acknowledging Auburn’s reputation for doing everything well, Bianco remains confident that the Rebels can adapt and execute when it matters most.
