Kewan Lacy, a junior running back who arrived at Ole Miss after a standout stint at Missouri, has become the centerpiece of the Rebels’ 2026 Heisman narrative. His 2025 campaign set single‑season records with 306 carries, 1,567 rushing yards and 24 touchdowns, earning All‑SEC first‑team honors and placing him on multiple award watch lists.
Alongside quarterback Trinidad Chambliss, Lacy will anchor a dynamic backfield that also features three transfer backs: Makhi Frazier from Michigan State, JT Lindsey from LSU and Joshua Dye from Southern Utah.
