A milestone marked by design
The Ontario Reign held its Summer Bash at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, to unveil a sweeping brand evolution that will accompany the franchise’s 60th‑anniversary season. The event brought together fans, community leaders and the team’s leadership to showcase the new visual identity.
At the center of the reveal was a primary logo that blends the Los Angeles Kings’ historic aesthetic with symbols of Ontario’s auto‑racing heritage. The mark features a bold “O” at the top, a nod to the province, and five pistons that embody power, precision, pressure, unity and relentless forward movement.
The redesign extends to the on‑ice apparel, where the Reign will field both light and dark jerseys. The new color palette of purple, gold and black runs throughout the uniforms, adding a modern edge while retaining a link to the team’s traditional tones.
Dan Lynch, the Reign’s vice president, said the refresh reflects the club’s ambition to “honor our past while embracing the future of the Inland Empire community.” Luc Robitaille, president of the Los Angeles Kings, praised the initiative, noting that the new look “captures the spirit of a team that has always been forward‑thinking.”
Beyond aesthetics, the brand overhaul underscores the Reign’s commitment to its regional roots. By weaving together the legacy of Ontario’s racing culture and the franchise’s six‑decade journey, the organization aims to deepen its connection with supporters across the Inland Empire and beyond.
